NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION TOURNEY. [BY TELEGBAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, 18th January. The New Zealand Bowling Association's annual tournament was continued to-day. Light rain fell nearly all the morning, and a drizzle prevailed most of the afternoon, the result being that most of the greens were somewhat heavy and dead. Kaituna Green. — In Section A Taieri (Carswell) is leading, with 5 wins and 0 losses.^ Ia Section B the first round of the sectional ties resulted :—: — St. Albans (Henley), '20, beat Victoria (Bury), 12 ; Canterbury (Saxton), 21, beai Southland (Erskine), 12. Second round : Canterbury (Saxton), 24, beat St. Albans (Henley), 16. Saxton therefore won Section B, and will meet Carswell (Taieri) later in the week to decide the green winner. On the Mornington green, the green final resulted : — Roslyn (Wedderspoon), 17, beat North End (Ham), 9. On the Roslyn green, in Section A the sectional final ended : — Southland (Smith), 26,^ beat Gore (Ingram), 13. The ?;reen final • result was : — Southland Smith), 22, beat Taieri (Stevenson), 19. Balmacewan Green, Section A—Sectional final : NortJi-East Valley (Begg), 22, beat Dunedin (Bentley), 21. - Green final : Fairneld (W'Lauchlan), 23, beat North-East Valley (Begg), 13/ St. Kilda, Green. — The play off of sectional ties resulted *in Dunedin winning the section. Caledonian Green. — Sectional final : 'Dunedin, '23, beat l Green Island, 27. Green final : Dunedin (Gillies), 21, beat St. Kilda .(Smeaton), 11. Otago Green. — Sectional' final : North End (Service), 24. beat St. Kilda (M'Cordy), 17. Green final :' North End, 17, beat Greenmeadows, 16. Dnnedin ' Gre,en. — Sectional final (A) : Bailey, 16, beat Gage, 15. Sectional final (B) : M'lntyre, 26, beat White, 14. Green final : M'lntyre beat Bailey by 3 points. North-Easfc Valley.— Sectional final (A) : Brown, 21, beat Hancock, 15. Section final (^) : Collins, 23, beat .Johnson, 15. Green final : Brown, 21, beat Collins, 11. Brackenridge (Newtown) scored one win and sustained three losses.
