BRITAIN'S NAVY.
EIGHT NEW SHIPS THIS YEAR. By Telegraph.— Pres* Association.— CoDyriKki, (Received .January 18, 8.5 a.m.) LONDON, 17th January. Sir Edward Grey, Secretary for Foreign Affairs, in the course of an election address at Newcastle, declared that tho Navy will be kept at its proper ' strength. The eight new ships that were to be built this year were, the speaker declared, ample for all purposes.
