o AUSTRALIAN TEAM FOR NEW ZEALAND. TO SAIL IN A FORTNIGHT. By Tcleerapli.— Press Association.— Copyright. SYDNEY, 14th January. At the annual meeting i to-night of the Cricket Board of Control, it was decided to send a team to' lour New Zealand. it will consist of thirteen members and a manager. Mr. A. Mackenzie, a prominent Waverley cricketer, was appointed manager. If possible, four members of the Australian eleven that recently toured England will be included in the team, which will sail for Wellington on 29th January, playing their tint match against Wairarapa on 4th and sth February. The board decided to aek the South African team which is to visit Australia to commence its tour in December oi this year, instead of January next as proposed. TRIANGULAR' MATCHES. APPROVED BY SYDNEY BOARD 0^ CONTROL. vSYDNEY, I4*h January. The. Cricket Board approved of the scheme* of triangular matches, provided : That England, Australia, and South Africa each play six test matches in England. That each play the other in three matches. That each country take halt the grosß "gate" taken at the match in which it takes part. That each visiting teaffl, in addition to tests, piay one match with each firstclass county and with the Mnrylebone Club.
