HOSPITAL TRUSTEES. [BY TELEGRAPH — SPECIAL TO TIHS POST.J GREYTOWN, This Day. The South Wairarapa Hospital Trustees met yesterday. Present : Messrs Mark Maxton (in the chair), W. J. Nix, W. Moore, and A. Booth. A letter was read from Mr. D. P. Loasby, agreeing to continue his supply contract till 31st March. The credit balance at the bank is £317 12s. Accounts were passed amounting to £90 6s Bd. There were six patients admitted during the month, twelve discharged, one died, and three still remain. Air. M. Ross was appointed visitor for the month. An apology for not attending was received from Mr. H. Morison. OTAKI NOTES. [BY TELEGfiAPH — SPECIAL TO THE POST.] OTAKI, This Day. Mr. Newman, MT.P., has been on a brief visit to Otaki, desiring to secure I a seaside residence for a few weeks. j He left last evening for Paekakariki for a period before returning home. At the Anglican Church yesterday afternoon, Mr. Fred Dunn, a local athlete, was married to Miss Gooding. The wedding was a quiet one. The young couple arc well known and much respected. At the Police Court Thomas Cloudsley was charged with the theft of a keg of beer, valued at 255. He was fined £3, and ordered to pay witnesses' expenses (125.), in default a month's imprisonment.
