TVTEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS FOR NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. WELLINGTON - FOXTON - PALMERSTON NORTH LINE. NOTE.— On Ist January, Holiday or Day Excursion Tickets issued at any station between Wellington (Thorndon) and Paekakariki, inclusive, to any station between Wellington "(Thorndon) and Paekakariki, inclusive, will not be available by the Wellington (Thorndon)-New Ply mouth, the Wellington (Thorndon)-Napier Mail Trains, and Wellington (Thorndon) - Auckland Express Trains either on tho outward or return journey. Express and Mail Trains will make tho usual stops. On 31«t , DECEMBER, in addition to the ordinary timetable trains, the following trains will run : — For PLIMMERTON— Wellington dep. ' Fo?'PAEKAKARIKI— Wellington dep. 10.50 p.m. For PALMERSTON NORTH, WANGANUI, NAPIER, etc.— Wellington dep. 11.20 p.m., Paokakariki 12.45 a.m. on Ist January, Otaki 1.40, Levin 2.15, Palmexston North arr. 3.45 a.m., Wanganui arr. 7.50 a.m. This train will rtot stop between Wellington and Paekakariki for passengers, but north of Paekakariki stops where required except Makerua and Linton. NOTE. — Passengers for stations Terrace End (Palmerston-WbodviUe line), Napier, and intermediate stations change trains at Palmerston North. The 4.15 p.m. and 11.20 p.m. trains from Wellington will nofc take passengers for stations between Wellington and Paekakariki. Passengers from any station between Ngaio and Plimmerton who aro going beyond Paekakariki must proceed to Plimmerton by the 3.15, or to -Paekakariki by the 10.50 p.m. trains, and join tho through train at those stations. A Special Train for Wellington leaves Plimmerton at 5.35 p.m., Porirua 5.52, Johnsonvillo 6.15, Wellington arr. 6.45 p.m. ON Ist JANUARY (NEW YEAR'S DAY), With the exception of the WellingtonAuckland Up and Down Ordinary Express Trains, the Down Auckland- Wellington Extra Express Train, the Up and Down Wellington-New Plymouth and Wellington-Napier Mail Trains, the 7.0 a.m. Palmerston-Wellington, and 4.15 p.m. Wellington-Palmerston Trains, which will run as usual, the ordinary timetable will be suspended.
