BENGAL COAL.
FIFTY THOUSAND TONS BOOKED. (Received December 10, 8.20 a.m.) LONDON, 9th December. Tho Daily Mail Calcutta correspondent states that if the Australian strike continues, there are prospects of numerous orders for Bengal coal. Fifty thousand tons have already been booked at Calcutta. If unloading is safely effected, many other cargoes will be despatched.
