HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.

ELECTION BY LOCAL BODIES. A meeting of delegates from Various local bodies was held to-day in tho Town Hall for the purpose of electing six trustees for the Wellington Hospital to hold office during tho coming year. Mr. J. Coyle, secretary > was iv the chair. The delegates present were Messrs C. J. Crawford (Miramar Borough), J. W. M'Ewan (Petone Borough), F. T. Moore (Makara County), C. 1. Dasent (Karori Borough), W. R. Plimmer (Onslow Borough), J. Barr (Eastbourne Borough), W. Galloway (Hutt County Council). The following were proposed and elected trustees: — iMessra. Agmen Smith, R. C. Kirk, G. London, J. W. M'JKwtn, G. :Kasli, and F X. iloore. Mr, J. Trevor has been re-elected by the Wellington City Council. Tho Hon. C. M. Luke and Mr. J. Danks hold office until January, representing the contributors. Mr. Luke retires in January. Should the new Hospitals and Charitable Aid Bill come into force, the present trustees will only hold office until April.
