SALES OF WORK.

ST. MARK'S. Last evening a sale of work was held in St. Mark's Schoolroom for the purpose of disposing of th© goods tiliat remained from the .bazaar held some time ago. The Ladies' Guild Stall for plain work, and dolls, was under the direction of Mrs. Moore, and the Misses Christie, Lerwill, Bates, Gray, and Watson; the Girls' Guild etall was managed by the Misses L. ai)d I. Vare ; and tho working be© stall was directed by^ Mesdames Bell, Ward, Harrower, an'd^th© Missas Rogers, Ward, Sanders, and D. Bell. Maypote and oiher fancy dances wercr performed by Misses B. Longton, E. Holloway, G. Tanby, E. Martin, and J. Shirtcliffe- under the direction of Miss Bell and Miss Longton. ST. PAUL'S. The sale of work now being held in the Sydney-street Hall by the members of St. 'Paul's Anglican Church reports a most successful undertaking. Miss Sybil Johnston's handsome tableaux were again produced last evening. In the afternoon action songs were given by visiting school children, among whom were Miss Drawbridges kindergarten pupils and the children of St. Mary's Home, Karon. PRIMITIVE METHODIST, WEBBSTREET. The dainty and quaint "Dutch Garden" held by the Webb-street Primitive Methodist Church in the Alexandra Hall, Ghuznee-street, was again open yesterday. Competitions and action songs composed the evening's entertainment. Mr. and Miss Snelling contributed a pianoforte duet. Very good business is said to have been done. TRINITY METHODIST. Yesterday afternoon a baby show was the great attraction at the Zealandia J Fair in St. Thomas's Hall, Newtown, I held by the Trinity Methodist Church, Newtown, in aid of the school funds. There were thirty infant competitors, whom Mrs. Holgate was appointed to judge. Mrs. Bura'e little son gained the firft prize, and the second went to the baby sow of Mrs. Marton Williams. The fir^t prize for baby girls went to Mrs. L. Chisholm's little daughter. The Misses. Youmans exhibited a series of fine tableaux in the evening.
