SIR A. K. WILSON APPOINTED. By Telegraph. — Press Association.— Copyright LONDON, 2nd December. It is officially announced that Admiral of the Fleet Sir Arthur Knyvet Wilson, V.C., has been appointed to succeed Sir John Fisher (raised to the peerage) as First Sea Lord. He will assume his new duties on 25th January. The Prime Minister, Mr. Asquith, with King Edward's approval, has requested Sir John Fisher to continue his membership of tho Committee of Imperial Defence after vacating his present post.
