NULLITY OF A MARRIAGE SOUGHT,

In the Divorce Court this morning, Mr. Justice Edwards heard a petition by Catherine Ann Dwyer for an order of nullity of her marriage with Alfred Michelli, op the grounds that respondent's first wife was still alive. The respondent is at present serving a sentence of five yearB 1 imprisonment for embezzlement at Auckland, and in an interview with petitioner in the Auckland gaol admitted that he was already married, and that his wife was alive. The parties to the suit waft married by the Registrar in Auckland in April, 1907, and the respondent was 19 years older than the petitioner. The respondent had written that he did not intend defending the application. Hjs Honour reserved his decision.
