A cable message received to-day advises tho arrivnl of the Tjser liner Nerefiana at Melbourne from London. The vessel has part cargo for Melbourne and Sydney, after discharge of which she proceeds to New Zealand. The date of her arrival in New Zealand, however, is uncertain on account of the Newcastle strike, and the absence of information as to the amount of bunker coal she carrieß. INDUADEVI AND STAR OF SCOTLAND. I Messrs W. M. Bannatyne and Co., local agents for the Tyser Line, advise that the Indrftdevi, from New York, via Australian ports and Auckland, is due at Wellington on Monday next with 1119 tons of general cargo to land here. After discharge the vessel goes to Lyttelton and Dunedin with the balance. The Star of Scotland, from London, sailed from Auckland for Napier on Saturday, and is expected to reach Wellington on Thursday. After discharge she will remove to the Glasgow Wharf for loading, and will subsequently 1)11 up for London at various New Zealand ports. The Waitemata, which arrived from Westport early yesterday morning, took up an anchorage in the .stream. Her subsequent movements have not yet been disclosed. The Pateena was adjusting compasses in the harbour this morning, and she resumes running in the Wellington-Picton-Nelson service on Wednesday. The coastal steamer Opawa, which has been aground on the Wairau bar during the past lew days, was refloated at 7.30 this morning, and arrived at Wellington at 2 p.m. to-day. . There was a thick fog at the Wellington Heads and in Cook Strait to-day>v. The lonic was due from Auckland *at midday, but is doubtless hanging off the coast.
