CONSUL-GENERAL'S CARAVAN ATTACKED. ELEVEN MEN KILLED. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. LONDON, 27th November. Tribesmen near Shiraz, a town of considerable importance on the Persian Gulf, attacked a caravan accompanying the Russian Consul-Gener.il They killed eleven of the escort, and captured the caravan, but the ConsulGeneral escaped. M. Isvolsky, Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs, has demanded immediate punishment of the robbers.
