Nineteen thousand Spanish troops occupied Mount Adlaten, on the Melilla Peninsula, dominating the roadways and waterways towards the interior of Morocco. The Moors did not resist! The Spaniards are now fortifying the position. . The Spanish Cabinet has decided not to continue a forward campaign. The troops will return at General Marina's discretion.
