Tin's morning the Union Coinpany'6 large steamer Waitemata, after having replenished bunkers at Westport, sailed from there for Wellington, and should accordingly arrive tomorrow. The vessel will commence loading wool at Wellington under tho :"ispices of the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company. As the Mapourika, /rom Greymouth and Westport, was not to leave Nelson fop Wellington till 1 p-.m. to-day, her arrival is not looked fpr till about 0.30 to-night. The Hinemoa returned to tho Wool Jetty I from Cook Strait, shortly before 2 o'clock this afternoon. She was unable to effect a landing at Cape Palliser owing to a considerable sea, and will leave for there at 4 a.m. on Monday.
