Tonkin, silver medal for rescuing Harold Funke and Bert Jones from drowning at Napier ; Frederick Baechmann, silver medal for rescuing a man / named Mollen from drowning at Takapuna; Gerald Scobie, framed certificate for rescuing two children from drowning at New Brighton; Clarence Henry Green, framed certificate for rescuing Cecil Bear from drowning at the mouth of the Aparima river, Riverton; Karsten Kornelussen and Signurd Olsen, certificates for rescuing Peter Jacobsen from drowning at Auckland ; Charles C. Cathro, Eden H. Jones, Henry W. Martis, and Arthur W. Larsen, certificates for rescuing three men from drowning in the Wanganui river at Castlecliff; Mrs. Jacobs and Mrs. Hope, stewardesses of the ill-fasted Penguin, In Memoriam certificates to next of kin; Harold Hende, certificate for rescuing Alexander Saraty from drowning in the Big Wanganul river, Sonth Wesiland ; Robert Darroch, an officer on the Ulimaroa, silver medal for rescuing William Graham from drowning in Wellington Harbour ; P.
