The Victorian tennis tournament closed with doubles matches, a series of which determined ihe destination of the Mars-Bueldey Cup. New South Wales secured the cup, defeating Victoria by 184 games to 167. In the singles events New South Wales won 104, Victoria 87; in the doubles, each won 80.
