More favourable reports are to hand from Jamaica concerning the damage done by floods. Owing to the Dreaking of the Kingston reservoir, a water famine ' was feared in the capital, but this has been averted. Forty per cent, of the present banana, crop has been destroyed, but the spring crop is uninjured.
