MORE FAVOURABLE REPORTS. SPRING CROP OF BANANAS SAVED. Bj Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright, LONDON, 17th November. More favourable reports are to hand from Jamaica concerning the damage done by floods. Owing to the Dreaking of the Kingston reservoir, a water famine ' was feared in the capital, but this has been averted. Forty per cent, of the present banana, crop has been destroyed, but the spring crop is uninjured.
