Fourteen thousand quarters of Australian wheat, January -February shipment, have been sold at 376 6d per quarter. Lead, £13 7s 6d per ton. Tho rate for short loans is 4i per cent.— a fall of £ since Friday last. But three months' bills are "discounted at 4& per cent. — 1 lower. (Received November 18, 10.5 a.m.) LONDON, 17th November'™' At the tallow sales, 468 casks were offered, and 262 were sold. Prices wer© unchanged. DUNEDIN GRAIN MARKETS. DUNEDIN, 17th November. There is very little doing in wheat at E resent, as milleis are buying only from and to mouth. Prime milling, 4s 4d to 4s sd; medium to good, 4s Id to 4a 3d; best whole fowl feed, 3s lOd to 4s; medium to good, 3s 4d to 3s 9d. Supplies of oats in stores are now in small compass, and any business that ia done is usually for ■small lots on trucks at country stations. Prime milling Gartons, Is B^d to Is 9£d ; prime Sparrowbills, Is 8d to Is 9d; good to best feed, Is 7d to Is 8d ; inferior to medium, Is 4d to Is 6d.
