TWO PERSONS BURNT TO DEATH. [BY TELEQEAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] TAIHAPE, This Day. This morning, at 4 o'clock, a fclab whare of threo rooms, with a toi-toi loof, was burnt to the ground at Turangarere. The whare was occupied by a man named Jago and his wife, and three other men — Charles Connell, John Grogan, and David Davis, a halfcaste, also lived in the place. Mrs. Jago and Connell were burnt to death, only a small portion of their rc- • mains being discovered. Tho others escaped. Jago was badly burnt and cut, 'and is in a serious condition. Grogan's hair was singed. It took only five minutes after the •discovery of the fire to reduce the building to ashes. An inquest will be held this v evening-
