ESCAPED PRISONER RECAPTURED.
[BS TELEGRAPH — PHESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, 16th Nov. A prisoner named Frederick Greager, who escaped from Hanmer prison camp about six weeks ago. was captured this afternoon at Rolleston, where he had been living in a tent made out of woolpacks. He was living on a quantity of preserved meat, also damper made a\}t of pollard and potatoes cooked in a buvket. He had been filling in his time making horsehair watch-guards, of which he bad nine when arrested.
