PRIMITIVE METHODIST SYNOD OF OTAGO.
[BI TELEGRAPH — PBESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, 15th November. The Primitive Methodist Synod of Otago has just been concluded at Waikouaiti. The reports showed a gratifying increase of church members, but a slight decrease of Sunday School 1 scholars. Motions advocating Dominion option and the bare majority were, carried unanimously, also a protest^against members of the Government attending the opening of TatyersalFs Club. It .was decided) that mii^sterjs be stationed . as follows : — Dunedin, Revs. G. Knowles Smith, J. B. Suckling, G. Drake, and E.- Bandy; Invercai'gill, Revs. W. Laycock 'and T. A. Pybus ; Bluff, Rev. G. P. Hunt.' Rev Mr. Bailey goes- to Wanganui.
