The engineer of the Harbour Board (ifr. J. \V. Marchbanks) estimated the cost of the addition (362 ft) to the Miramar Wharf at £13,117. The lenders received were as follow : "SI. O'Connor, £13,383 Is 3d (accepted) ; C. F. Pulley, £13,555 18s 3d; D. M'Lean. and Co., £1^,653 : M'WilHam& and Andrews, £13,939 232 3 7d.

The half-yearly plumbing and electrical examinations in connection with the Wellington Technical School mil bo held early next month. Entries close with the Registiar, 93, Victoria-street, Wednesday, 17th instant, for the plumbing, and Friday, 19th instant, for the electrical.
