LONDON, 30th October. The hemp market is inactive, and prices remain unchanged. There is a strong demand for copra, and large sales are reported of South Sea *fc (in bulk) £21 10s, (in bags) £21 12s 6d. The market for eucalyptus oil is quiet, prices ruling at lOd to 14d. / At Liverpool October-November cotton ifl quoted at 7.60 d. Messrs. Neill Brothers estimate the American crop at under 11,000,000 bales. Short time will probably be worked in tho Lancashire mills till Christmas. The first shipment this season of ArgenHm> butter has been Fold. Salted realised li4s to 116s per cwt., unsalted 118s. _ Rabbits are firm, prices unchanged. English supplies are smaller. Copper, on the spot, £57 13s 9d per ton ; throe months, £58 15s ; electrolytio, £59 lEs. Tin.— Spor, £138 2s 6d; three months, £140. Lead. — There is a slight slackening of consumption, but the undertone of the market is firm. Quotations rule at £13 2s 6d. Silver, 23 l-16d per ounce.
