Martin (Thorndon) and Nelson (Behampore) shared the bowling honours. 1 Selwyn A, 106 (M'Donald 55), v. Wanderers, 14. Bowling for the former, D. M'lntyre secured seven wickets for 2 runs. Masters (four for 1.3) did best for Wanderers. Evans Bay, 142 (Carswell 42, Benuett 27, Ward 19, Claridge 12, O'Connor 11 not out), v. Albion, 67 (Moore 26, Winter 15, Cunningham 14). For Evans Bay, Wrigley secured seven for 23, and Bennett two for nil. Lingard (four for 24) and Cronin (two for 12) trundled successfully for Albion. MISCELLANEOUS. Marist Brothers beat Northland by aa innings and 43 runs. Coleman (38) and Vetori (33) batted well, and Carruthers (five for 23) and Jeffries (four for 10) bowled effectively for the winners. Reed and Fenwick, 110, v. Young's Chemical Works, 47. Kilbirnie, 74 (Derbyshire 32, Cowan 12) and 27 for three wickets, v. Templars (one man short), 16. Four batsmen were run out. Brown (five for 36) and * Patterson (three for 20) bow, ?d best for Templars, and Thomas r ~vJ Bramley for Kilbirnie.
