During the season ten new members were elected, while ninq active and five honarary members resigned or left the district. There wp,s still a fair credit balance, though tho committee regretted that thero should bo 6iich_a largo number of outstanding subscriptions. Thanks of the club aro due to Messrs D. Robertson, F. Waldegrave, and M. E. Dawaon for donations, and to Mr. A. H. Marryatt for practical assistance during the yoar. One_ evening sports gathering wae held during the season, and this was well attended. Prospects for 6uoh meetings during tho coming season were much brighter, owing to the increased number of young runners. It was hoped that renewed efforts would be made to bring about a Civil Service championship meeting. The club's relay team — Messrs. Woodger, TeQtenberg, Tanner, and Bust — had been successful in winning the interclub teams race at the Wellington provincial championship meeting. Congratulatory reference was made to W. A. Woodger, a member of the club who had won the 100 yds and 220 yds championships in Australia. The balance-sheet showed a credit of £6 14s 9d. The report and balance-sheet wero adopted. Election of officers for the ensuing year reaulted as follows: — Patron, Sir J. G. Ward ; president, Mr. A. M.irryatt ; vicepresidents, Messrs. R. W. M'Villy, S. F. Whitcombe, E. A. Dawson, F. Wilson; delegates to Wellington Centre, Messrs. E. A. Dawson, and R. E. Bust; auditors, Messrs. J. E. Foot and W. F. Carter; timekeeper, Mr. G. Nicoll. It was resolved that application bo made to the City Council for uee of Ihe Basin Reserve on the 29th January next for the purposes of an afternoon's sports gathering. A suggestion was made that tho club should amalgamate with the Y.M.O.A. Athletic Chib on the occasion of the meeting, and tho matter was left wxth_ the committee to arrange.
