For 'Auckland, per Main Trunk train, daily. 10.43 a.m. TUESDAY, 14th SEPTEMBER. For Southern Offices of Now Zealand, per Pateena, G p.m. For Blenheim, per Opawa, 7.45 p.m. WEDNESDAY, 15th SEPTEMBER. For Westport, per Kamona. 11 a.m. For Picton, Blenueim, and Nelson, pet Takapuna, 11.50 a.m. For Motueka, via Waikawa. and Admiralty Bays, per Manama, 2.20 p.m. THURSDAY, 10th SEPTEMBER. For Kaikoura, per Wakatu, 3.20 p.m. FRIDAY, 17th SEPTEMBER. For Rarotonga, Tahiti. Penrhyn, Mangaia, Marquesas, Aitutaki Islands, also United States of America, West Indies, Canada, and United Kingdom, via San Francisco (due London 22nd October) (money orders must be obtained before 0.15 a.m.), per Hauroto, 10 a.m. For Ceylon, India, China, Straits Settlements South Africa, also Continent of Europe and United Kingdom, via Naples (due London 24th October), per Moana, 2.30 p.m. For Australian States (due Sydney 21st inst.) per iloana, SBo p.m. (Money-orders must be obtained two houra before ordinary mail closes). The best despatch for United States of America and Canada will be via Rarotonga, Tahiti, and San Francisco, closing at Wellington, on 17th inst., at 10 a.m. The next best despatch for Continent of Europe will be via Naples, closing at Wellington, per Moana, on Friday, 17th Inst., at 2.30 p.m. The Parcel-post branch of the Chief Post Office, Wellington, has been removed from St. George's Buildings, Brandon-street, to the building known as tho Drillshed, Maginnitystreet. Parcels should be deposited at and taken delivery of at the Drillshed. Mails for Auckland will close at the Chiei Post OSico daily, via MaDawatu and Main Trunk lines, at 10.45 a.m. : late fee 11 a m • mail van, 11.45 a.m. Money orders for abroad must be obtained two hours before the advertised time of c!obmg mails, with the exception of those despatched overland via Auckland, when tho latest time for obtaining money-orders is 9.15 a.m. Unless otherwise specified, registered letten and parcels-post packaces must be handed in and money orders obtained cne hour befora the ordinary mail closes.
