JNO. R. PALMER, » ' Town Clerk. Bth September, 1909. THE GRAMOPHONE GRAND. "T^TO doubt tho failures in the early -^ talking machines created a prejudice against them. With -the NEW Gramophone there is no prejudice to overcome, and the moment it begins to work, the hearer realises that he is in the presence of some great singer's voice, and he is carried away by the wonderful faithfulness of tho music. It is but fitting that an example of tho highest perfection which the gramophone has yet reached should adorn the home of Queen Alexandra, who was delighted with the marvellous reproductions of the "GRAND" supplied to her, which is now kept at Saqdringham. There is no harsh metallic sound, no jarring noise with the '.'NEW GRAMOPHONE GRAND." It is not as a machine, but a musical instrument, that, reproduces the 6ounds of the human voice with lifelike fidelity. Melba, the greatest living singer of the day, will eing into no other instrument, and is loud- in her praise of the clearness of its reproductions.
