OPPONE'NTDS' TACT-ICS CONDUMINED. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright, BBJJSBiANE, 7th September. Mr. Kidston, State Premier, opened his election campaign to-day at Rockhampton. In the course of his speech, Mr. Kidston 6aid it was unnecessary to elaborate the Government programme, which was bhe same as that submitted two years ago. Tho key-note was material, educational, and. social progress. He characterised the alliance of the Opposition and JLa>bour Parties as most unholy, hopeless, and helpless, so far as .the coaiduct of public business was concerned. The Premier considered the financial arrangement with the Commonwealth n fair compromise.
