SUCCESSFUL PARTY'S DESPATCHES.
SENT FROM INDIAN HAHBOUR. BRIEF STATEMENT. MESSAGE TO MRS. PEARY. NEW YORK, 7th September. The New York Times publishes the following statement :—: — " Commander Peary telegraphs from Indian Harbour, via Cape Ray : ' Reached Pole April 6th. Expect arrive Chateau Bay September 7th. Secure control wire for me there, and arrange expedite transmission oi a big story.' " Mr. M'Millan, a member of Peary's party, has cabled to the Worcester Academy, Massachusetts, where he was •formerly an instructor in mathematics : " Top ot the worid reached at last. Greetings to faculty and the boys." Commander Peary has sent tha fol-> lowing telegram to his wife, from Indian Harbour :—: — " Have ' made good ' at last, and have the old Pole. Am well. Love. Will wire again from Chateau." Mrs. Peai'y replied :—: — " All well ; best love. God bless you. Hurry home."
