"JACK AND JILL" TO THE EDITOR.
Sir, — It is a pity about poor "Very Dissatisfied," who in last night's Post so woefully bemoans the money he recklessly spent to witness the pantomime. I, with many others, cannot help feeling sorry not only for him, but for his more intimate friends— if he has any. The only consolation is that such melancholy cynics are comparatively scarce, and that there are still many happy folk who can enjoy an evening's fun and healthy enjoyment is amply demonstrated both by the crowded houses and the unstinted applause which this magnificent production evokes. I should like to know how much he wants for his money, and it would be rather interesting to hear his suggestions for improving the show, and what he imagines would ' bring it up (or down) to his standard of perfection. To my mind, it is bristling from start to finish with novelties, fun, and catchy music, and what more does one look for in a pantomime? I was. going to suggest to the management that they refund "Very Dissatisfied" his money, but this course would perhaps bring along the rest oi' his class, and we whose livers are not affected might have the misfortune to sit in their vicinity. I am not the only one who, having been once, will not miss the chance of going again — not on account of the press notices, but because 1 consider it is BONSOR.
