Bamelt, proprietor of the newspaper _mylight, was to-day fined £20 and costs, by Mr. Haselden, S.M., for publishing betting news on horse races to be run in New Zealand. __c charge was laid under section 31 of the Gaming Ac 6, and Barnett conducted his own defence.
