Tlie barometer has risen slowly over the North Island, and the winds have changed there from south-east to north-west for moie cloudy and warmer condUions. The barometer has fallen in the south, and the v/intls have changed from eastward to westward for more unsettled -neatlier. A fresh is still reported in the river at Qisborne, and the seas have decreased on the east coast of the North Island. Steady r.\in fell in tbe night at Cambridge and New Plymouth. TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
