j lIVERS FLOODED. [BY TELEGRAPH —SPECIAL TO THE POST.] WAIIII, This Day. There was a great storm on Saturday night and Sunday. Over six inches of rain fell in 36 hours. The rivers are flooded. There is a great flood at Paeroa, where boats have had to be requisitioned. HEAVY RAIN IN POVERTY BAY. FBI TELEGBAFH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.} GISBORNE, This Daj. 'Heavy rain has been falling since 5 a.m. yesterday, and all the rivers in tho district are in a flooded stato, but no serious damage is reported.
