GREECE AND CRETE.

■ ♦ .—.— MUTINOUS ARMY OFFICERS. FORCE THE RESIGNATION OF PRINCES. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright, LONDON, 3rd September. It is semi-officially declared that the demands of the Greek army officers during the recent meeting included the resignations of the Royal Princes, not because the movement is anti-dynastio, but as part of a scheme of military reforms which the new Premier now undertakes to introduce. Four Princes have retired from the army. Another account of the mutiny cays that the officers attained their object — the withdrawal of the Princes from the highest positions in the army. Cretan assurances respecting the Greek flag promise tho immediate settlement and withdrawal of the national forces. Some have already gone abroad.
