Commander Biddlecombe, writing to kno Standard, says it is a wrong policy for Australia to give a Dreadnought to the Imperial Government. The £2,000,COO ought to be spent on a ioeal fleet, forming part of the Imperial Navy. Instead of building cruisers, the writer Rugj^ests that Australia might lease four cruisers belonging to Britain's reserve, and when out of date these ships should be returned and others leased. 0
