At Addintfton Yards to-day there was * fairly lars;u entiy of stock and a uood attendance. , , SLoro Sheep.— Tho demand for hoggets was nov nearly so keen as of late, and prices wcru weaker by Is and Is 6d per licad. Ewes and wethers bold at late rates. A lino of owe hoggels was pxoeprionatly good, and sold at 15s 3d, and email halfbred owe hoggets brought 13s Id. Other lots of ewo hoggets made 12s to 12s 9d ; average hues of mixed sexes, 9s to 10s; and others, 8s to 8s 6d. Low-conditioned wethers brought 10s and upwards, and ewes 12s to 14s. It'at Lambs.— Tho entry of fat lambs showed a great falling off, only 485 coming forward. Tho range of prices was: — Prime- wethers, 14s 6d to 19s ; light er, 12s 6d to 15s ; prime owes, 14s to 16s 6d ; others, 9s lid to 13s 6d ; merino wethers, 10s 6d to 13s 6d. Fat Cattle.— Steers made £4 12s 6d to £12 10s ; heifers, £5 10s to £7 10s ; cows, £4 to £7 17s 6d; equal to 19s 6d to 21s 6d for primo, lb'9 to 19s for medium, and 14s to 17s for cow and inferior beef per 1001b. For dairy cows I hero was a good demand, and tlioso sold at £3 15s to £8 2s 6d ; a lino of springing heifers making £6 5s to £10. The yarding of store cattlo was a. small one, only 13 head coming forward. Most of these were cows, and sold at 25s to £3 10s, and heifers to £4i,2s 6d. Pigg. — Choppers sold at £3 to £5 ; heavy haeoners, 55s to 645 ; lighter, 47s to 525 ; large porkera, 40s to 445 ; lighter, 35s to 38s ; large etovos, 30s to 355 ; medium, 22s to 286 ; sows in young, up to £6 15s.
