EXCHANGE OF FLAGS.
£BY TELEGRAPH — SPECIAL TO THE POST.] CHRISTCHURCH, Thi.s Day. The Lincoln District High School was the fifth school in New Zealand to adopt the movement for exchanging, Hugs with English schools, and in return for a iiag which was sent to the Mayor of Lincoln, and presented to the Lincoln Municipal Technical School, the District High School has received a large Union Jack. This is accompanied by a framed address, two groups of coloured postcards, views of Lincoln, and a representation of the civic insignia (with historical notes) which was presented by the Mayor and Mayore.ss of Lincolfi. The pupils of the District High School have been enthusiastic in the matter, and there was much rejoicing among them when the flag was ceremonially unfurled yesterday by the member lor tho district, Mr. R. H. Rhodes. Ihe weather was unfavourable, but there was a large gathering of the residents of the township and the district, and the pro ceedings were unusually interesting. [PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
