General Booth, head of the .Salvation Army, is negotiating with the Canadian 'Pacific Railway for the purchase of alurge tract oi land in Alberta, on which to settle all Salvationist immigrants. If the negotiations are successful, this will bo the largest colonisation scheme on record.
