TAILORING DISPUTE.
..3V TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.! AUCKLAND, This Day. A dispute in the tailoring trade was before the Conciliation Commihsioner this morning. The workmen have as-ked for a new provision ttating definitely the holidays for weekly hands, and that the minimum wage of £2 10s be raised. The employers' representative *aid the primary matter for consideration wa.s the desire of the employers that the log be done away with, and an hourly system substituted. The employers would not agree to tho men's demands, and the dispute was sent tithe Arbitration Court.
