Arrived—" Manapouri (10 a.m.) and Kamona (5 p.m.), from Wellington. HOKITIKA. 20th June. Arrived—Jane Douglas (10.15 a.m.), from Wellington. ROTOITI AND ARAHURA. A slight moderation in the sea on the Grey bar enabled the Rotoiti to clear inwaids about midday on Saturday, but a massage received this morning from Greymouth states that the sea on tho bar was increasing again. The Arahura, from Wellington, arrived outside this morning, but was compelled to remain at anchor. .The Eotoiti in the meanwhile will probably have to -wv.it till tlie pea moderates sufficiently to enable her to cross outwards in safety, and may then come direct to Wellington. Tlie port has proved very troublesome during the past week or ten days, a heavy westeily gale, accompanied by high seas and a fresh in the rner, rendering secure navigation over Hie bar out of the question. THE SYDNEY STEAMER. Cabled intimation from Sydney states that ths Umon Company's steamer Warrimoo sailed from Sydney at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday for Wellington, with 20 saloon, and 27 steerage passengers for here. The vessel may be expected to arrive here on Wednesday morning. THE STAR OP SCOTLAND. This morning the Tyter Company's big steamer Star of Scotland berthed for inwaid .loading at the Glasgow Wharf. She arrived from Ljttelton on Sunday evening. The vei>acl will leave to-morrow for Napier. To-morrow the Flora is due back from Westport, and is to,sail on Wednesday for East Coast ports and Auckland. The Manapouri is due back from Westport to-morrow evening, and is fixed to make another trip, leaving here on Thursday. This morning the Westport Coal Company's collier Rcgulus was taken to the Slip for overhaul and survey.- She will come off tomoirow, and is to sail the same day for We"stjport. Negotiations are said to be proceeding for the purchase fioin the board of the Grey Harbour tug Westland by a Greymouth syndicate. The Westport Times states that the board loses £000 a year on the tug. As a result of the preliminary inquiry held by the Collector of Customs into the wreck of the auxiliary schooner Tuhara at Mania, her master (Captain MeXabb) was (states a Press Association telegram from Napiei) absolved from auv blame and lws had his papers returned to him. A Pi ess Association message from Christcnurch states that the Athenic left Capetown on I'Hday evening for Wellington via Hobart
