The New Zealand professionals met a Queensland thirteen to-day, a fast game resulting. The visitors had all the best of the first spell, scoring 16 points to their opponents' 5. Queensland showed gieatly improved form in the second half, but i\ew Zealand hiid always something in hand. ,The final score was — New Zealand, 40; Queensland, 2b. Con. Sullivan, who was plajing m excellent game for the Petone hi-st fifteen in the earlier stages of this season's championship matches., and who gave up a place in the Wellington representative fifteen to go lo Australia, suffered .i broken leg.
