The Australian cricketers to-day began a match at Glasgow against a West of Scotland team. The weather was bright, and the wicket easy. About two thousand spectators were present. The Scotch team \vent to the wicKets first, and compiled a good innings of 244. Tennant, the international Rugby player, scored 80 runs in seventy minutes. At the close of time the Australians had lost two wickets for 102 vuus — Hartigan, not out, 61.
