WELSH SOCIETY OF WELLINGTON.

A very pleasant evening was^spent in Godber's Rooms, when members of the Welt.li Society entertained their friends. The following ladies and gentlemen contributed to the programme : — Opening Song (with chorus), by president, Mr. Rees Watkins ; songs, Mr. R. W. Barber, Mrs. Lewis, Miss Watkins, Miss I M. Watkins, Miss G. Watkins, Mr. Oliver ; duet, Mr. Cathcart and Mr. Tunley ; violin solo, Mr. Mills ; piano solo, Miss Tomlinson. During the evening an adjournment was made for refreshments. The meeting closed with the singing of the national air.
