EXTRA EDITION. THE LONG ARM OF THE LAW.

ARREST IN SYDNEY. Detective Andrews will leave for* Sydney to-night to bring to Wellington a man named John Hemingway, who has been arrested in the former city. He is to be charged here with having broken into the .warehouse of Dickerson and Co., in September, 1907, and stealing tweeds to the value of £10. It is alleged that various other articles have been traced to his possession. Accused is a brother of James Hemingway, convicted for the robberies from the Post. Office and Whitcombe and Tombs's premises.
