FORECAST.
At 9 a.m. the following forecast was issued for the subsequent 24 hours :- Winds.— Easterly winds, increasing to gale are piobable northward of East Cape, Taupo, and firvgliin, and moderate to strong westerly windb elsewhere. Barometer.— Fall everywhere, especially in the north. aea. — Increasing northward of East Cape, and moderate elsewhere. Tideß. — Good "northward of East Cape, and low on the west coast of tiie North Island; moderate all other ports. Weather. — Cloudy and unsettled weather is probable generally* and especially over the North Island, us present weather conditions are iqost unstable. Warning signal for easterly gale is exhibited at Cape Maria Van Dieinen and Tintin, and will be exhibited at East Cape at sunrise, but for westerly gate at Centre Island and Sxigeet Point. ■ D. 0.
