ANTARCTICA.

(Bx Tbiegbaph. — Spbcial to The Post.] CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. It is probable that a member of the , British Antarctic Expedition will make a lecturing tour of Australasia this year, telling the story of the work in the Far South, and displaying the photographs and cinematograph films secured by Lieut. Shackleton. The pictures, some of which have already been seen in Wellington on the occasion of Lieufc. Shackleton's lecture, illustrate every phase of the adventures of the expedition. The cinematograph films, of which some four thousand or five thousand feet were secured, are unique and intensely interesting. They illustrate motor travelling on the ice and snow, the battles of the Nimrod with the floes and bergs, and the curious habits of the penguins and seals, as well as many other Antarctic scenes.
