Heavy winds^ and squalls may be expected from between norfch-north-west and west and south-west and south, with v.icious seas" succeeding, and much rain. Cook Strait and the southern half of New Zealand will be most affected. The period between Bth May and 14th May will fall under the influence of the disturbance, which will make things pretty lively, especially South from the fortieth parallel of latitude. Wellington very particularly will feel the disturbance.
