Mails, for Australian States close at Auckland, per Victoria, on Monday, 3rd May, at 4.15 p.m., and at Bluff, per TJttmaroa, at 3.15 p-m. The next' best despatch for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe will be via Brindisi, dosing at Wellington, per Warrimoo, on Friday, 7th inst., at 2.30 p.m. The next best despatch for United States of America and Canada, will be via Vancouver, closing at Wellington, per Main Trunk line, on Tuesday, 11th May, at 10.45 a.m. Mails for Auckland -will close at the Chiet Post Ofllce daily, via Manawatu and Main Trunk lines, at 10.45 a.m.; late fee 11 a.m. ; mail van, 11.45 a.m. Money orders for abroad must be obtained two hours before -the advertised time of closing mails, with the exception of those despatched overland via Auckland, when the latest time for obtaining money-orders is 9.15 a.m. AH books and sample packets and newspapers for places within the Dominion must be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter mail closes.
