VICTORIA STOCK RETURNS.
A DECREASE. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received April 28, 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. For the yetr ended March the number of cattle in Victoria decreased by 268,000, dairy herds losing 100,000 cows. Sheep decreased by 160,000, and pigs by 31,600. The falling-off is attributed to the bad season.
