NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting ot the Wellington City Council, held at the Town Hall on the 22nd day of April, 1909, iti was rosolv^d: — The Council of the City of Wellington in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," "lho Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908," and their respective amendments and all other Aote, powers, and authorities enabling it in thatbehalt doth hereby resolve by Special Order: — That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Special Loan of £22,550, authorised to bo raised by the Council of the City of' Wellington under the abovementioned Acts for the purposo of providing a system of Water Supply for those parts of the City of VVellington known aa the Districts of Northland and Wadestown, being the whole of the districts which were lately included in the Boroughs- of Karori and Onslow, exclusive of the portion thereof iormerly part of the Borough of Karori, which is defined m the first schedule tc "The Wellington (City) Suburbs Sanitation Act, 1893," the Council of the City ot Wellington, hereby makes and levies a Special Rate\ <jf fivesixths of a penny (5-6 th d) in the £ on the Rateable Value (on tho basis of tho uuimprvned value) of all rateable property within, tho said parts of the City of Wellington, the boundaries and descriptions of which are set forth in the schedule hereto, and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable halfyearly on the first day of October and tho first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 24- years and 9 calendar months from the first day of July, 1909, or until the loan is fully paid off.
